Funding for Local Animal Services

At the University of Oregon Journalism School, each student must take a multi-media intensive course call Gateway to Media. While in the class, each student selects an “issue” they want to explore and tells stories of individuals or organizations that relate to their chosen issue. 

Because of my love for animals, specifically dogs, I chose the issue of funding for local animal shelters and services. While working on this project I was able to connect with my current employer A New Leash on Life. I produced four separate stories through videography, audio, photography and writing.
